Alclad recently completed the facade for Kangan Institute’s Health and Community Centre of Excellence, bringing its state-of-the-art design to life.

Alclad’s scope included the fabrication and installation of:

  • External and internal glazing
  • Thermally broken window frames
  • Aluminium cladding
  • Aluminium window shrouds
  • Aluminium feature fins
  • A stunning glazed skylight

Our work not only enhanced the building’s appearance but also created an inspiring space for students and staff, showcasing Alclad’s commitment to “Best Advice, Best Finish”.

Topic In Focus
Corten Look

The Corten look is a distinctive ‘weathered steel’ coating which is seen featured on the façade of Kangan Institute. Designed to withstand the elements, it comes with a 25-year warranty unlike natural Corten which can leach and stain surrounding surfaces.

This solution provides a durable, low-maintenance finish while achieving the same rich, rusty texture.
