Recladding

Alclad Architectural has successfully completed this 3D Re-Clad for the Kardinia International College. The team was approached to sort out the problem of non-compliant cladding and the transition from combustible to non-combustible cladding was seamless. Not only is the new cladding compliant, but it is also screaming class and perfection which is reflected on every angle of the Chromatic Tiger Orange Finish.

The Katsumata Centre at Kardinia International College is a unique & special building as it was created as a tribute to the founder of the school, Mr Yoshimaro Katsumata. Internally this multipurpose space can be transformed, using an automated retractable seating system, from a sporting facility into a 1200 seat performing arts theatre.

This major project was required to meet strict timeframes and remain operational during the school year. The major re-cladding work was carried out by Alclad Architectural. As project manager I was extremely impressed by the work carried out by Alclad; their entire approach was exceptional; all timeframes were met, budget limits were not exceeded and their team displayed a comprehensive understanding of quality building practice in a complex environment. The college has reported that they are delighted with result.
